She has a wide range of Orthopedic experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse. She has served as a Clinical Coordinator for Joint Replacement patients for over 20 years with Dr. Schutte. Amy gained her Orthopaedic Nurse Certification through the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses. Her special interest is in Patient education and preparing patients for surgery to assure the best possible outcomes for each person. She has had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer on multiple medical mission teams including PMI-Walk Nicaragua.
Amy is originally from Maryland. She and her husband and son reside in Awendaw where they enjoy outdoor activities and water sports.
